Tactical Medical (2-Day Course)
With the understanding that providing care for traumatic injuries in tactical or dangerous environments differs from standard CPR & First Aid training protocols, this course will give you the lifesaving skills to help keep the injured alive while performing these skills in high-stress situations.
As part of the course, we’ll discuss the differences in injuries and systemic complications commonly encountered in these environments: Ballistic, Blast, Burn, Shock… Course participants will learn the medical protocols for dealing with these injuries while in dangerous and/or unpredictable situations. In addition, we’ll discuss the tactical considerations that must be evaluated and decisions that must be made in keeping the course participants safe while providing care in these types of environments.
